Mixed media tag Trio

Hi Crafters. I am sharing this months design team make for Bloom Art Stamps. I have made a mixed media tag trio.

How i made the tags...

Take 3 pieces of card stock and cut a rectangular shape roughly the size that you want your tags to be.

 Using a few different inks randomly blend in. I always start with the lightest colour, through to the darkest.

2. Taking stamps from the "Elements I' & Elements II sets. I stamped randomly using orange and black inks and white acrylic paint.

I love how the bubble stamp looks with white paint. 

 I then added strips of 'decopatch' paper and rubbed in some coal randomly.

 

I then covered the whole surface with white tissue paper.

        Once dried i added some stencilling with home made texture paste. 

 

I stamped the butterfly from "home is where the heart is' set and embossed with gold embossing powder. 

To finish i added strips of corrugated card, fabric and an inspirational words to each. I then rubbed in and splattered white chalk paint onto each tag. 

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. This is a nice easy mixed media project to try.
