Sun themed Artist Trading Coins

Hello crafters, i've been away for a little while but now i'm back to share some more crafty makes.
This month i am sharing my DT project for Creativ Fusion Arts & Crafts challenge blog. The theme for this months challenge is 'Summer' Hopefully you have been having a good summer wherever in the world you are. Unfortunately here in the UK the summer hasn't visited us much so far.

For my project i have made 3 'artist trading coins' using the 'sun with face' image from 'Pattie's Creations'.

I have made a 3D ATC by mounting the image onto a 2.5 inch circle 

The image was coloured using water colour pencils and then fussy cut. I cut a 2 inch circle from patterned paper and glued the image on top.
I then die cut a 2.5 inch circle from white card stock and using my alcohol markers randomly scribbled on a few different co-ordinating colours. The 2 inch circle with the image was then mounted onto the base using blobs of hot glue.

I enjoy making artist trading coins as they make a pleasant change from the standard rectangle ATC's.
