Tag, postcard and inchies

Happy Monday,

I am sharing my projects for the January challenge swap with UK Stampers Forum on facebook. The theme for this month is anything goes. I have made a mixed media tag, postcard and a set of inches.

In have made all three in the same theme using the same techniques.

6x4 postcard.

   

I stamped and embossed a dot pattern in white, all around the edges then blended distress ink all over. I stamped 2 swirls in dark purple, used the top of my glue tube and end of a paint brush to stamp circles and dots.

I then drew around the MDF bird and coloured using water colour, added swirl pattern and glitter glue. Finally, i scraped on homemade texture around the bird and added some colour. 

Inchies - the same stamping techniques were used on the inchies. Except for texture paste and bird.

I stamped and embossed a circle pattern all around the edges and blended in 3 colour inks. 

I then stamped a couple swirls with the distress ink, stamped circles and dots and used my finger to add random dots of colour.

I added an MDF bird,  added some glitter glue and a brad for the eye. I added some home made texture paste and made a swirl pattern with the end of a paintbrush.
 Finished off with a station ribbon and peg.
