Bird themed tag

Hi crafters, we're having some glorious weather today here in Manchester, UK. Spring has finally arrived.
Today i am sharing a bird theme large tag for PINspirational challenge #235. I have made this tag for a junk journal that i am working on.

I have used a scrap wallpaper piece, white card, inks, stamps and white gesso.

Firstly i cut the wall paper to size and backed it with white card stock. i then inked around the edges in 'peacock feathers' distress ink. and added a hole for the tie.

On the reverse side i stamped in the same distress ink at the top and bottom corner. 

i used a blue glitter pen and alcohol pen to add in some finer details on the stamps.

Using white gesso and distress inks i blended in the middle area of the tag before stamping on another image in black ink.

Tag complete. All that's needed now is a tie.

I chose purple and turquoise to co-ordinate with the colour scheme.
