Bring the sunshine

Hi everyone, i am today sharing a page embellishment for a junk journal. This is my DT project for PINspirational challenges #236. It's the 7th anniversary of our blog challenges, so we thought we would bring the sunshine with this challenge.

To make this journal page embellishment. i firstly got a srap dictionary page and tore it to my desired size.

 I then stencilled a sun using home made texture paste mixed with red and orange inks. 

using one of the journalling cards from Arty Maze sunflower kit. i roughly tore away the sunflower, butterfly and word images and inked around the edges and glued to the book page.

i then randomly stamped using a distress ink and stamp

All ready to be added to a summer themed journal page.
